Our 4-step learning mastery framework
Teach
New concept taught clearly, then worked through with the child
Pattern Reading
We read the working to see how your child thinks — and where it breaks down
Personalised Support
Support built around your child's actual gap, not a worksheet for the whole batch
Progress Check
We check again to see whether the understanding has actually landed
Mastery
Secure enough to use independently
A concept isn't mastered just because it was taught. We look at the child's working, identify what is getting in the way, provide the right support, and check again until they achieve mastery.
What actually happens in a session
A live session is not a lecture followed by homework. Your child is learning, solving, showing their working and receiving feedback throughout.
Recall
We quickly retrieve earlier learning to keep important concepts active.
Builds confidence from the start.
Teach
The teacher explains the new concept clearly, with examples and questions along the way.
Clear explanations. Many checkpoints.
Practise
Your child solves problems on paper while the teacher guides and observes the work.
Guided practice, not just questions.
The difference
We don't just teach. We watch the learning happen.
Your child shares their working, and we see the thinking — not just the final answer.
Show
Your child shares a photo of their working, so the teacher can see the thinking — not just the final answer.
Shared through WhatsApp during the session.
A simple photo is enough.
Correct
The teacher checks the working in real time and corrects misunderstandings while they are happening.
Because we see the working, we can catch misunderstandings while they are still small.
Exit Check + Homework
We check whether your child can now solve the type of problem independently, then set focused homework for further practice.
Homework submissions are checked within 24 hours.
No two sessions look exactly the same. The teacher adjusts the balance of explanation, practice, doubts and checking based on how the batch is progressing.
Why 60 minutes or 90 minutes?
Both sessions do the same six jobs. The difference is how much time the child needs to do them well.
Four key factors decide how much time a child needs. Every child is different.
Cognitive Pacing
How quickly the child grasps a new idea.
Execution Speed
How quickly they can process and solve problems.
Prerequisite Gaps
Earlier concepts that need repair.
Guided → Independent Practice
Some learners need more guided practice before they can work on their own.
60 Minutes
Typically suits learners who:
- Pick up new ideas more quickly
- Solve problems with relative ease
- Have fewer prerequisite gaps
- Move to independent practice sooner
90 Minutes
Typically suits learners who:
- Need more time to grasp new ideas
- Need more time for problem-solving
- Have earlier concepts that need repair
- Need more guided practice before working independently
The bigger picture
The child’s learning needs determine the time.
90 minutes is not more teaching because it is a bigger package.
It is more room for the teacher to teach well when the child needs more time.
60 minutes is appropriate when a confident learner can move through the same learning cycle efficiently.
How NeoShiksha is different
The same subject. A very different learning setup.
Typical Tuition
Conventional classroom setup.
Larger batches
More students in a batch.
3–4 sessions/week
Usually fewer classes per week.
Standard session length
Typically shorter session formats.
Common pace for the batch
Same explanation and practice for everyone.
NeoShiksha
A smaller, more personal learning setup.
3 students max
Smallest practical batch structure for individual attention.
90 minutes
More room for understanding, practice and support.
5 days/week
More room to adapt the week around the learner.
Adaptive teaching
Teacher adjusts support based on the child's actual progress and working.
The child's learning needs shape the experience.
Online Tuition
Learning from home, often in groups.
Often larger groups
Many students in a batch.
3–4 sessions/week
Usually fewer classes per week.
Shorter / standard session formats
Commonly 60 minutes or less.
Limited visibility into individual working
Harder to see the child's step-by-step thinking.
More time, frequent sessions, and small batches give us the flexibility to build our teaching around the learner—rather than forcing every child to fit the same class.
What progress actually looks like
Progress is often visible in how a child thinks, works and responds — even before it shows up in marks.

“I don't get it.”
“I know where I'm stuck.”

“Leaving it blank.”
“Trying before asking for help.”

“Following the teacher's steps.”
“Solving it independently.”

“Knowing the formula.”
“Explaining why it works.”
Progress looks different for every child.
These are some of the changes we often see. Every learner moves at their own pace.
See where your child actually stands
Start with a diagnostic. We'll identify what your child understands, where the gaps are, and what kind of support is likely to fit.
