Online Mathematics classes — questions parents ask
My child gets the method right but the answer wrong. Is that carelessness?
Usually not, and this is exactly what we look for. Every session your child solves on paper, and we read the working rather than just marking the answer. A slip repeats differently from a wrongly-learnt method, and the two need completely different fixes — which is why a correct answer tells us almost nothing and a wrong one tells us where to go back to.
Will going back to earlier chapters put my child behind in class?
No. Your child keeps learning their current grade at full pace. The gaps underneath are repaired in parallel, in the same week — we never stop the syllabus and send a child backwards.
How is a batch of three different from a bigger online class?
In a batch of three the teacher can see every child’s working in the same session and stop the moment one of them goes wrong. That is not possible at twenty, which is why most online Maths classes can only teach the chapter and hope.
